As its business continues to upgrade in 2024, Company M plans to acquire a batch of Tractor Trucks to form a new transport fleet. After trialing several mainstream models on the market, particularly the increasingly competitive Chinese heavy-duty Truck brands, the SHACMAN Delong X3000 tractor equipped with the Cummins ISM engine stood out due to its exceptional fuel economy. The main operating scenario for Company M's fleet involves high-intensity daily driving, traversing thousands of kilometers of East African cross-border highways. After six months of rigorous operational testing, the X3000 delivered an excellent average fuel consumption of 36.5 liters per 100 kilometers. This result represents a fuel consumption reduction of over 10% compared to other Chinese brands trialed during the same period, and notably, its fuel economy has matched that of the second-hand European Trucks previously used by the company.

This new vehicle is equipped with the M10 engine, jointly customized by Cummins and SHACMAN. It not only boasts a powerful output of 440 horsepower, comparable to that of European Trucks in the same class, but more importantly, it features extreme fuel efficiency. Paired with a low-speed ratio rear axle, it achieved an average fuel consumption as low as 34 liters per 100 kilometers during a one-week trial run, surpassing the efficiency of old European Trucks! Furthermore, according to Company M's calculations, the parts and maintenance costs of SHACMAN Trucks are also lower, making the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) advantage of the vehicles even more prominent.

With the optimization of operating costs as its top priority, Company M immediately selected the X3000 tractor equipped with the M10 engine. To date, the company has purchased over 50 units.
